Im just not sure what to do…There is a car deal from ebay that just BLEW my mind!
I emailed him back and this is what he had to say
Hello there,
Thank your for your interest in my car.First of all I want to tell you that the car is still available and includes all the shipping costs and insurance, so you wont have to pay any extra charges. The car looks like new, it has never been scratched or wrecked. It will come with a clear title, bill of sale signed by me as well and all the papers (including the original manuals and keys) that you will need to register it under your name.
This was my brother car but he is not… anymore.I don’t want to get rich by its selling, just want to give it to someone who will take good care.
It is already at the shipping company, crated and ready to go and in this case i can’t close the deal in person.
The car will arrive to your door in 5-6 days tops. The final price is $5,870.
Because the car was listed also on eBay Motors, for payment, I´ll like to use an eBay Purchase Protection service,so we’ll beboth protected.
Please go here and Buy It Now on eBay Motors: link blocked
No money first to me – i will receive money after you will receive the car.
The transaction will be made under eBay Purchase Protection’s buyer protection plan.
Since this deal will be made using a escrow service to help us closing
this deal, I prefer honest buyers. Anyway,if you want more details
about this deal, please reply with the following informations:
-Your full name;
-Your shipping address;
-Your phone number
I’m a serious seller and a fair trader and I prefer to deal only
with a serious buyer. If you consider yourself one please e-mail me back so
we can start our deal.
I will look for your email, so that we can move forward with this
deal!

im just not sure weather its a scam or not…its just that the deal is soooo cheap for a such a nice car..
If you guys think its a scam…why is he even giving out his VIN# anyway? I emailed him for a cell# just to be safe…waiting for a replay now lol
I’m not a sleeze-ball by any means. I am an honest person, and I don’t enjoy lying, and I certainly am never out to cheat anyone. I generally respect people, and find that most people take to liking me.
I am a very intelligent person, and I work hard. However, I am a bit quiet. I don’t do the small-talk well and most of the time I don’t speak unless I am spoken to first. I would say that I am pretty normal looking and I dress properly. I have good manners and all.
Do you think that someone on the quiet side could be successful on a car lot? Do you think I need that edge of attacking a sale at the expense of a customer to be successful, or can a quiet honest guy get the job done?
Thanks.
As the global economy has changed over the past 12 months or so, more and more people are turning to Sales training courses to help them secure more sales.
For the past number of years companies have not had to worry about sales training as the economy was buoyant and sales people with the title of sales people did generally not need to fight for business. In fact to be honest in many industries they were order takers as opposed to salespeople. With this in mind sales training courses were not very popular as consumers with more money in their pockets were prepared to purchase anyway.
Based on personal experience I will try and explain what I mean:
If you were buying a new car in 1990 sales people would be trying every close in the book to sell the car to you. In fact they were even offering you a full weekend test drive, where you could take the car for the weekend to try and help you make the decision. In these times Sales training programmes and sales skills were badly needed as the market was tough. Formal sales training was a must for numerous companies.
Now roll on the clock 15 years to 2005 and see how difficult it was to take a car for a test drive for 30 minutes never mind a weekend. The problem was the market had changed and if you don’t buy the car some one else will come in shortly after you and they will buy it. I understand this is generalising and it is not fair to paint everyone with the same brush. However this meant sales training courses were not in the same demand as sales training skills were not seen as a priority.
The same can be said for numerous industries, another example of this is the real estate business where purchasers trying to get on the property ladder were at times camping outside new housing developments overnight to secure a property. You have to ask the question how much sales training skills would the real estate agent need in this type of market?
The difficulty now from a sales training point of view is that many people who were recruited as sales people over the last number of years, are for the first time having to use the type of sales training skills that can be learned from attending sales training courses.
More and more companies are turning to sales training courses to up skill their salespeople to close more sales.
Sorry, ran out of room in my first message and still had other questions to ask. As said, I think I could do well in this business because my customers in my self-emp. business really like me. I try to treat them in an honest manner and this selling style seems to work well for me, as I’ve heard that you have to find the style that works for you (?).
While I know a lot about cars, I know almost nothing about the car sales business. So, I’m hoping the pros can fill me in. For instance, what’s an average income figure and how many cars does that involve selling in general a month?
I’m looking at a Ford dealer (family history…dad worked in their plant) because I know more about their product, but was also considering a Kia dealership since they seem to sell well due to price. Whats the pros and cons of Ford or Kia? I’m guessing you might make less on the Kia? Why do some hate or love car sales? Any other tips/tricks/advice, feel free to even email me.
Okay I’m in the market for a new car. So I want some honest opinions on my car that I’m trying to trade or sale:
It’s a 2001 Saturn SL2 with 133,000 miles. Within the last year the car has gotten a new water pump, battery, and starter. It’s up to date on oil changes and has had a tune up recently. Also it has a brand new (bought last month) pioneer $100+ radio/cd player/ mp3 player with hook up professionally installed at Circuit City. I have all records on repairs and maintenance. Does need some paint work and there is a small hole in the back of drivers seat. It gets 30 mpg in town and then 34-36+ on highway. I’m the second owner but all miles I put on car were mostly highway miles for the weekly 144 miles I put on the car to drive to college and back. Also I only owe $1500.
How much do you think a private party would pay and how much do you think it’s worth as a trade in? KBB says its worth a little more than what I owe.
How many of us would like to buy a new car? Now how many of us are actually going to go out and buy one? If you are like many people half the fun is just looking at all the cars you can choose from. There are so many different cars available to us it can be hard to choose just one, it may be safer to just look. Whether you are in the market for a new car or just looking to see what there is there are many sites you can visit to get the information you want.
You may want to look at the sites that evaluate new cars. These sites will give you the stats on the new cars, trucks, and minivans of the year. Some of the stats you will find are things like gas mileage, epa emissions, speed, and comfort. They will also choose which vehicles they think are the best in each group. This may be something you would like to know when looking at new cars. You can compare the stats and decide for yourself which vehicle would be best suited for your needs.
Another route you might like to check out would be a site that offers input from actual owners. This is a great way to find out the real facts about a car, instead of just what the sales man says. Real owners will give you their honest opinion on how the car handles and rides in town or on the highway and what kind of gas mileage they get. An owner will tell you what they don’t like about the car too. This could all be important information you might like to have before buying.
There are even a few articles out there written by people who have gone undercover as salesmen, or used to be salesmen and hear their stories. These articles reveal some of the lines, or scams, or gimmicks that salesmen sometimes try to use to get you to buy a car. They let you in on the secrets they use or used to pressure people into selling that car.
You can also find sites that offer you many pictures to admire. These sites may also offer you comparison charts too. Both of these would be helpful when in the market for a new car. You can find the car you want in any color you want to make sure you get the one you want. You may have thought you wanted a red car, but when you see the picture you may decide you want a different color all together.
There are also sites where you can find a car history report. You can also find places that will give you a quote on how much the car may cost based on your zip code. This would be helpful when you go to deal with the salesmen, you will have an idea of how much it should cost. You can also get financing calculations, which may help you decide which car you can actually afford to buy.
You can find all kinds of web sites on cars. Whether you are in the market for a new car, or just like to look and dream, you will find a wealth of information available to you on the internet. You can find anything you want to know about a car.
