Sassy One asked:

I have my old car up for sale. It has a problem when I apply the brakes, it acts like it wants to stall. After it warms up, it is okay.
I will be honest with a buyer regarding this problem, I will sell “as is.”
Besides the DMV forms and sign off, what should I put on a bill of sale regarding as is. I don’t want them bringing the car back.

once you get the money they cant “bring it back” get them to sign a “”as is” paper…put “as is” on bill of sale in large letters

Check with your state DMV link and find a ‘bill of sale’ form.
See if they have a ‘release of liability’ form that you can submit.
See if your are required to supply a smog cert to the buyer.
    Keep copies of all documents.
