most of these editors are bundled w/ DVD authoring, so after editing the movie, u go directly to burning memories.

not too sure if we’re on same wavelenght as there’s a video capture device-Pinnacle Dazzle-w/c captures & converts ANALOG tape video stream to DIGITAL file.

Video editing software are entirely different- these also capture, but only DIGITAL video, plus the capability to edit & author DvD. Pinnacle Studio is one of these.
If its the same system as the Dazzle, best to avoid it. From my personal experience the Adaptec videoh or gamebridge is the best.
I don’t know which Pinnacle system you’re asking about, but commercial DVDs have built in copy protection. I doubt that Pinnacle sell anything that breaks it, but there are many downloadable apps that can do it.
