Besides the DMV forms and sign off, what should I put on a bill of sale regarding as is. I don’t want them bringing the car back.

I bought a used car privately, and the seller told me a mechanic told him it was safe to drive…specifically the brakes…and 2 days later I have failed brakes and ABS and nearly 1000 in repairs. We did not have a bill of sale….just a title…I’m in Ohio…can anyone shine some light on this for me?
