I’ve been in sales positions for about 7 years now, mainly outside B2B sales. Recently, I decided I wanted a change, I just moved to a new city and have been pretty bored with the sales job I’ve had for the past few years. I was offered a car sales position working for Honda, but I am having a hard time deciding if I should give it a shot. If I ever were to sell cars it would be for a company like Honda or Toyota, simply because it seems they have their niche customers moreso than other car makers, plus the quality of their cars. However, at the same time I just don’t know if getting into this industry is something that is easy to do or not. The upside is great if you are a top producer, but I just have no idea how quickly someone can jump right in and start making good money. Any advice from people doing it would be greatly appreciated!

I beleave it’s about 20% but I would like to find a site with “official” stats. I work at a Toyota dealership in Florida and we are at 30%. That’s just the front sales and not counting internet.

If I buy a used car at an actual Toyota, Ford, or other major dealership, do I need to take a mechanic or can I trust that the car is in good condition.
