The product used car sales people use to make the cars look so shiny?

Ginger asked:

They have the best things, any car can look so shiny with whatever they use, when it wears off of the car, after someone buys it, they need more!! , so what kind of wax looks good? Brands?

Interior also? Like dash board areas? Windex is good for the windows?

Mothers liquid carnauba wax used with a high speed buffer. It’s what I used when I worked as a “lot tech” for a small time used car lot.

Armour all dashes, seats etc. wax carnuba polish body with electric shammy, then hand rub with McGuire’s

Use a rubber and vinyl protectant such as Armor All or Mother’s for the dash. Polishing your car will keep it shiny, waxing will help it last. I recommend Meguiar’s but most of the name brand polishes and waxes work well. It’s usually a matter of personal preference. If this sounds like alot of work take the car to a detailer. They should be able to clean, polish and protect your car for approx. $150.
