Misti C asked:

I was given an “offer” for my totalled car but I want to know what all I am supposed to be reimbursed for.. I know the value of my car, as well as sales tax but I know there is more that I am missing.

i own a shop,,and they should also have to reimburse you for loss time from work ,if any,,and also having to rent a car or borrow a car,,and any,, pain and suffering you had from the accident,,as far as the car goes, they only have to pay the current value of the car,,that’s it,,but the loss of time without a ride should also be payed ,,just set down and talk with them,,i think you,ll work it all out,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

If it is your insurance company they are going to owe you for the value of your vehicle at the time of the loss minus your deductible. If you have rental reimbursement coverage they will pay for a rental car until they make an offer on the vehicle.

There are other things that you could get compensated for but that would depend on who is at fault, were you injured, etc. You did not give any of that info.
