what the heck is car boot sale? why would a car want to wear boots?
it depends on what your selling, like if your trying to sell sunglasses in winter people arent going to buy them.
try to sell things that people need at that time.
if that doesn’t work you could always sell bootleg DVD’s
The trouble with Car boot sales is that people aren’t willing to part with their money even for quality items, people always want something for nothing. I tried selling good quality paperbacks and you only get 50p each for them (if you’re lucky) and at £10 per stall you have to sell 20 books just to break even!!
I’m always a bit precious about things and try to hold out for more money and then they end up not selling and the items end up in the garage for another year. So if its in the car boot sale pile its probably because you don’t want it any more so you should just part with it for whatever you can get.
Presentation is always important. Make things easy for people to see. Some people like to rummage in boxes but others prefer to be able to glance. I think pricing things is a good idea too as some people don’t like
to ask.
